Generational Blessings and Curses

“Order my steps in Thy Word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me”.
Psalms 119:133 kjv

God knows the thoughts He has for you, He wants to bless you beyond your human comprehension! God has Covenant (unbreakable contract) with us through His Word and therefore, God cannot lie. Trust Him for what He says in His Word about us, and be willing to stand unabashed and exposed regarding your generational curses. Turn your faults into Generational Blessings by becoming a BREAKER in YOUR Generation--one who says THE CURSE STOPS HERE! Be one of your generation who says that everything that will proceed from my life will be a Blessing and NOT A CURSE!

“One who breaks open the way will go up before them: they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass before them, The Lord at their Head”. Micah 2:1

Truth Endures for All Generations…

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. Jeremiah 29:11 kjv

“He is The Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgement: a God of Truth and without Iniquity, just and right is He”. Deut. 32:4 kjv

When we look in the mirror, we see a reflection of our image staring back at us. If we were raised by biological parents or relatives, we can easily see by comparison that many of our physical attributes are passed from one to another. Even our talents, likes, and dislikes are transferred from parents to children. God’s Word goes even deeper than that. There are things in us, so evil, that if left unchecked, would undoubtedly destroy our very soul.

“…For I The Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep my commandments”. Exodus 20:5-6 kjv

“…visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and fourth generation”. Exodus 34:7 kjv

“…visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation”. Numbers 14:18 kjv
“…visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me”. Deut. 5:9 kjv

This thing called INIQUITY , or literally, Generational Curse, must be an important and vital principle to God! We have been shown in the preceding quotations of Holy Writ, that God thought it so important to be written for all of mankind, by speaking it into the heart of His Prophet four times in three separate books! And yet, many people when confronted with the Biblical fact that this is real and significant, and that God Himself spoke it out, would still be unsure if it applies to them, EVEN IF they are wrestling with something in their own lives! How many times have you fought with a struggle or temptation in your own life, and doing your best to fight a good fight, but still puzzled why this is even a temptation in the first place? How often have you cringed at your own behavior because it reminded you of things that were done, or reactions to situations just as were done by your parents, grandparents, relatives, or anyone connected to you with a covenant?
Consider this scripture:
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”. Galatians 6:7 kjv

If your father died and left you with riches; money that he had invested, worked for, and sweated to earn, wouldn’t you be harvesting what he had planted? I assure you that if it is true in the physical realm, it is even more valid within the manifestation of The Spiritual.

It started with Adam and has been passed down through so many ways and variations that mankind is blinded to the spiritual reality.. that we have been cursed with a curse, and we are cursing with a curse, the very heritage of The Lord…Our Children.

But there is Good News…The Spirit of The Lord, His Anointing, is here to break every yoke and burden, to set the captive free!
“I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said I will confess my transgressions unto The Lord; and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah”. Psalms 32:5 kjv

“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me”. Psalms 51:5
